Prime Portland Oregon Office Space

Over the last few years we’ve many companies relocate to the Portland area or start new offices here, some of the biggest names include: Google, Coaxis, Exelixis and SurveyMoney.

Where are the most in demand areas for office space in Portland? They include the Pearl District, Chinatown, and the West End—collectively grew by 24%, adding 3.6 million square feet.

Similarly, Seattle grew by 17%, adding 22.2 million square feet of office inventory.

As in years past, the downtown area has enjoyed huge growth, but what’s been different over last 10 years is that more offices are starting to be constructed just outside of the PDX area as well.

It’s easy to see why some companies want to be in suburban areas versus downtown growth is often easier in suburban areas, the commute isn’t as brutal, and it’s possible for people to get home quicker at the end of the day than it is if they have to commute from the downtown area.
